InkTower ("the game") is a single-player game. There are no accounts and no sign-in. Data leaves your device in four cases: advertising, anonymous statistics, the weekly leaderboard, and purchases. This policy explains each one.
The game reports how it is being played, so we can see where players get stuck and fix it. This is on by default and can be switched off in one tap: SETTINGS → ANONYMOUS STATS → off. Switching it off stops it immediately and permanently until you turn it back on.
What is sent to our own server:
Nothing here is sold, shared with advertisers, or joined to any other dataset. It reaches our own server only — no analytics company is involved and no analytics SDK is embedded in the game.
Your progress (upgrades, currencies, settings, purchases) is saved locally on your device only. Uninstalling the game deletes it. We cannot read it or restore it.
The game offers optional rewarded video ads: you may watch one to speed something up, and the game is fully playable without ever watching a single ad. Ads are delivered by Appodeal and its partner ad networks, which act as independent controllers of the data they collect.
To serve and measure ads, these third parties may collect and share:
The advertising SDK initialises when the game starts, so a small amount of this technical data may be sent even before you choose to watch an ad. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections.
The game has a weekly test that every player runs under the same rules. If you open the RATING screen and sign your notebook with a nickname, the game sends to our own server:
The leaderboard is served by Cloudflare Workers; weekly results are kept for 60 days, and the list of past winners is kept indefinitely because it is a public record of the competition. Taking part is entirely voluntary: the rest of the game works with no network at all.
Optional in-app purchases are processed entirely by Apple or Google. We never see or store your payment details. Purchases unlock convenience and cosmetic items; in-game coins and ink are never sold. As described under Anonymous statistics, the fact that a purchase completed — the product name and the store's transaction number — is recorded on our server to detect fraud.
The game is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. The store listings are rated for teens and older.
Step-by-step instructions, with what is kept and for how long, are on the data deletion page.
Everything stored on your device is removed by uninstalling the game.
For what reaches our server: switching ANONYMOUS STATS off stops any further statistics at once. To have records already stored deleted, write to the address below. If you have used the leaderboard, quote your nickname and we can find and delete your entries. Statistics rows carry only the random installation identifier, which is never shown to you, so we may be unable to single yours out — in that case we will say so plainly rather than pretend otherwise.
If a future update processes data differently, this policy is updated before that update ships, and the store declarations are updated with it.
